The existing TPO covering had more than one type of repair location. The roof field contained small irregularities and localized openings. Along the perimeter, the membrane rose against walls and turned through corners, with earlier patching and layered material visible at several details.
The junction with brickwork and the bases of rooftop components also required examination. These locations needed to be considered individually rather than treating the roof as an uninterrupted sheet.
Preparing the membrane for localized work
The service visit included hands-on examination and cleaning around the affected areas. Temporary patches were then installed at 22 locations. Several repairs were grouped near rooftop details; others were distributed along the membrane and perimeter.
The scope remained limited to the identified defects. No complete tear-off or new TPO roof installation was included. The existing membrane, flashing and previous repairs therefore remained part of the building's ongoing maintenance needs.
